The company was set up in the background of undidived Bengal in Kustia (present day Bangladesh) by the The Saha’s of Amla Sadarpur , a notable family of Zaminders that directed its thrust towards development of Tea. The original setup was in Sahabad in the era 19th century which was later shifted to Calcutta under the name “B. K. Saha & Brothers” in 1922 by Mr. Basanta Kumar Saha, Mr.Sushil Kumar Saha, Mr.Suhrid Kumar Saha &Mr .Sudhanshu Kumar Saha . Since then B. K. Saha is a household name in Calcutta & Surrounding Districts through its Wholesale & Retail trade. They are amongst the initial buyers from Calcutta Tea Auction & amongst the Founding Indian Tea Merchants Registered with Tea Board of India. Being the the highest selling retail Outlet of Tea in Calcutta and having several branches in Calcutta they got the status of “Chain-Stores”.Since the last 45 Years they have concentrated mostly In Wholesale business but on market demand “B. K. Saha & Brothers Ltd” is back in retail with our wide range of packaged tea sourced from the best gardens of Assam and Bengal (Darjeeling & Dooars).

B. K. SAHA & BROTHERS Limited is more than a century old company in the business of selling quality tea’s sourced from the select plantations pan India. It’s now a third generation entrepreneurial company managed by the 3rd generation of the founder entrepreneurs and committing to the same value system of supplying the original tea leaves at reasonable prices aligning to the customer needs which have been the bedrock of the organization.
